Our service is provided through "play with a purpose" by registered and certified professionals with extensive pediatric experience. We use a collaborative integrated team approach that involves the family, school and community.

  • GO!
    • Service is supported by a Family Liaison Coordinator who becomes the primary contact for the family, school and team.
    • Your child's team of therapists provides purposeful and  selective therapy strategies that are based on standardized tests and clinical observations.
    • Service will include assessments, reporting, direct therapy, consultation, goal setting, and re-evaluation.
    • For PUF programming a teacher will oversee the educational appropriateness of the program and assist with school transition.
    • Assessments are presented to parents in a report format. Child and family centered goals are captured within an individualized program plan that drives program intervention. Documentation, noting progress and recommendations, is provided to the family by each therapist after each visit.
    • Recommendations under the guidance of our qualified therapy team are followed through by a Child Development Facilitator and/or Child’s caregiver. Evaluation is continuous using an Individual Program Plan &/or Individual Service Plan for the child. 
  • Music and Movement Programs:
    • Cause and Effect offers unique child-focused music and movement programs including:
      • Mini Bachs Music Program
      • Yogi Bears Yoga Program
      • Movin' and Groovin' Movement Program
    • Kids being Out and About in their own communities. Community outings may include:
      • Library
      • Playground
      • Pet Store
      • Swimming Pool
      • And a variety of other areas that promote learning and play!
